3-Days/Week: Online Live Discussion(Sat/Sun) & Offline Assignments(Wed). There are two papers in the UPSC Preliminary Examination – GS Paper 1 and GS Paper 2 (CSAT). The CSAT paper is qualifying in nature and 33% (66 out of 200) marks is required to ensure that the marks in GS Paper 1 are considered to arrive at the merit list for UPSC Prelims Examination. Even though one needs to score only 33% marks in CSAT (GS Paper- II), it can become a little tricky given the unpredictable nature of UPSC, amid the increase in the difficulty level every year.

RxIAS CSAT MASTERCLASS covers all aspects of UPSC Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) syllabus thoroughly. The course will cover comprehension; Interpersonal  skills including communication skills; Logical reasoning and analytical ability; Decision making and problem solving; General mental ability; Basic numeracy and Data interpretation. The UPSC Preliminary examination comprises of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each. The first paper is the General Studies paper and the second paper is the Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT). CSAT is a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks of 33%. CSAT is a qualifying paper and the CSAT score would not affect a candidate to qualify for the Main Exam level. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the General Studies papers 1 & 2 at the Prelim Test stage. After clearing the Preliminary stage, the next step for a candidate is the Main examination. The mains exam consists of total nine papers; four General Studies papers, two papers of Optional subject (Paper VI and Paper VII), one paper on Essay and two qualifying papers of mother language and English paper. Optional subject consists of a total of 500 marks out of a total of 2025 marks and hence play an important role to get selection in the Civil services examination.
